How easy is it to order a canvas print from YourCanvasShop?

Pick the size you want, upload your file and tell us where to send it. You don't need to know anything about pixels, dpi, jpegs, tiffs, gifs, leave all that to us.

Can I use pictures taken on my camera phone?

Normally its a No - the size of the image from many camera phones is not suitable to print onto a picture, however camera phones are getting better all the time, so send it too us and we will send you a proof.

How long will my order take?

If you allow 14 days for delivery from order confirmation you won’t be far out but if need your picture quicker just tell us and we will try to rush it through with no extra charge.

Will my canvas colours fade?

No. We offer a lifetime guarantee.

What if I do not own the image I want to send?

It is your responsibility to ensure you are not infringing copyright and have the necessary permissions to reproduce an image onto canvas. It will be you who will be responsible if there are any copyright issues after we have printed you canvas.

Which format will give the best results?

This is all down to the resolution of your digital images. In all cases the bigger the image the better, use your camera's highest quality setting but don’t worry if your image size is small, we can enlarge it without too much drop in quality but please dont expect a huge picture from a tiny file, its just not possible. If we think that your image is not suitable, we will always tell you.

What types of digital files do you accept?

We have never found a format we cannot take but i am sure there is one out there. A Jpeg over 600kb is normally ok but the higher resolution the file the better the print.

How do I specify how I want the image cropped?

Just put it in your instuctions, we will crop it and return it as a proof. I some cases we will crop a picture if we think it will enhance the image but we will always send you a proof for your approval before it is finally printed.

Can you only print photographs onto canvas?

Anything can be printed - we can scan a photograph, a negative, transparency, a painting or an illustration. We can print your own designs, just send us the file. We can even photograph or scan your childs painting.
